Among them, the bioactivity analysis services include but are not limited to the following:
Various free radicals and oxygen damage organisms and are an important cause of aging and death. CD BioGlyco offers a variety of antioxidant activity screening services for different oxidizing substances. The methods we offer include but are not limited to 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl, Hydroxyl Radical, Superoxide Radica Scavenging, Ferrous Ion Chelating Ability, Lipid Peroxidation Inhibition assay.
The antimicrobial activity of marine glycans and glycoproteins has been shown to have a favorable inhibitory effect on diseases caused by certain strains of bacteria. We offer screening methods for antimicrobial activity:
In addition, we offer other diffusion methods to expand the field of Antimicrobial Activity assay, such as agar plug diffusion, agar well diffusion, cross streak, poisoned food method, and so on.
Viruses are an important cause of disease and death in organisms. CD BioGlyco offers a variety of antiviral activity screening services based on the infectivity of the virus. In addition, we offer quantitative testing for viruses.
We also provide enzyme-linked immunosorbent, fluorescent-tagged antibody, and precipitation assay during serum testing to ensure high efficiency in helping our clients complete virus quantification.
Marine glycans exhibit significant anti-blood clotting activity. CD BioGlyco offers assays to screen for anti-blood-clotting activity based on the principles of anti-blood-clotting. The assay services we provide include but are not limited to Partial Thromboplastin Time Assay, Prothrombin Time Assay, Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time Assay, Activated Coagulation Time Assay, and Thrombin Clot Time Assay.
The significant immune-enhancing activity of marine glycans provides ideas for research on their anti-tumor mechanism of action. CD BioGlyco provides Reactive Oxygen Species and Cellular Assays based on tumorigenesis principles and processes. In the cellular assay process, we have a variety of detection pathways, such as MTT proliferation assay, Rhodamine 123 accumulation assay, Apoptosis detection, and Proliferation inhibition-mitotic index assay. Naturally, we offer customized anti-tumor assays according to our clients' needs.
Marine organisms create a huge library of compounds for screening anti-inflammatory drugs. CD BioGlyco provides clients with screening services in Hemolysis Inhibition, Proteinase Inhibition, Protein Denaturation Inhibition, and Lipoxygenase Inhibition based on the cause and manifestation of inflammation.
Marine glycans are an important source for the development of innovative probiotics. Additionally, probiotics have sensitivities to pH, bile salt, and antibiotics. CD BioGlyco uses this as a basis for providing Low pH Tolerance Assay, Bile Salt Tolerance Assay, and Antibiotic Susceptibility Assay as well as other testing services for marine glycans.
Enzymes are a key factor in liver activity. CD BioGlyco offers testing for Alanine Aminotransferase, Aspartate Aminotransferase, and Alkaline Phosphatase, and further offers targeted Liver Function Measurements.
Marine glycans exhibit antidiabetic activity with hypoglycemic and glucosidase inhibitory activities. The services offered by CD BioGlyco to test for anti-diabetes are Glucose Metabolism, Cellular Glucose Utilization, Cellular Triglyceride Accumulation, Rat Pancreatic Insulinoma Proliferation, α-Amylase Inhibition, α-Glucosidase Inhibition, Pancreatic Lipase Inhibition, Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV Inhibition assays, and so on.

Results: A sulfated polysaccharide mainly from brown seaweeds, consisting of a pyranofucose backbone and several monosaccharides, fucoidan possesses a variety of biological activities such as anticancer, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, antiviral, antithrombotic, and anti-inflammatory properties. In this thesis, the authors describe information about fucoidan green extraction methods, purification, and structural analysis. They also discuss the factors affecting the bioactivity of fucoidan. The structure complexity of fucoidan depends on factors such as species, source, and harvest time. In turn, this greatly affects the bioactivity of fucoidan, with high sulfation and low molecular weight being particularly associated with increased bioactivity. The presence of a sulfated fraction makes fucoidan easy to interact with other polymers and has far-reaching applications.
