The composition of glycans of marine glycoproteins has an impact on the maintenance of their conformation and stability, functions, and biological activity. Analysis of the monosaccharide composition of marine glycoproteins plays an important role in analyzing their constitutive relationships, and potential applications in medicine, etc. Based on extensive practical experience in Marine Glycoproteomics and state-of-the-art equipment, CD BioGlyco provides a high-quality and professional marine monosaccharide analysis service. We help clients identify glycosylation types and analyze glycoprotein structures by analyzing the monosaccharide composition of marine glycoproteins.
We use sensitive methods to analyze the monosaccharide composition of marine glycoproteins. With many years of experience in the Structural Analysis and research of marine glycoproteins, we achieve rapid characterization and quantification of monosaccharides. The marine monosaccharide analysis procedure is as follows:
We customize our analytical protocols based on the sample type and research objectives to best meet our client's research needs. Based on standardized quality control criteria, experiments are reproducible and results are accurate and reliable.
Our marine monosaccharide analysis service applies to various tissues of different types of marine organisms such as algae, starfish, and fish. Upon receipt of the client's samples, we complete all experiments from glycoprotein extraction, and monosaccharide detection to analysis.
We provide a detailed marine monosaccharides analysis report and offer valuable insights, mainly covering the following:

Results: In this study, the chemical composition, nutritional properties, and glycoproteins in Sardinella zunasi Bleeker were analyzed. The researchers extracted and purified glycoprotein (H2) from S. zunasi Bleeker and analyzed its monosaccharide composition, analytical amount, and immunomodulatory activity. The results showed that the average molecular weight of H2 was 7145 Da and the main monosaccharides were mannose and galactose. It has some immunomodulatory activity in a dose-dependent manner.

What is the biological significance of marine monosaccharides analysis?
Marine glycoproteins have diverse biological functions and are involved in intracellular or surface recognition, cell adhesion, signaling, and other processes. They are found in various marine organisms, but their glycosylation sites, molecular weights, and monosaccharide compositions vary. The analysis of monosaccharides in marine glycoproteins helps to understand their structures, and conformational relationships, and deeply analyze their biological functions and activities.
