Marine Glycoproteomics Service

Marine Glycoproteomics Service at CD BioGlyco

CD BioGlyco is constantly updating and optimizing glycoprotein-related technologies. Marine glycoproteins attract more and more attention due to their potential applications in pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and so on. To better serve our clients, in addition to the Production of Marine Glycoproteins, etc., we also provide a one-stop glycoproteomics service.

We have a range of technologies for glycoprotein analysis, including mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography (LC), lectin microarrays, etc. Marine glycoprotein analysis consists of the following main steps:

  • Sample preparation: Samples of varying complexity (serum, cell lines, tissues, etc.) are processed. After extracting, the proteins are decontaminated, concentrated, etc.
  • Glycoprotein enrichment: We have a variety of enrichment techniques for glycoprotein isolation, including hydrazine chemical enrichment, hydrophilic interaction chromatography, immunoassay, and others. We also utilize various lectin-based capture technologies such as lectin affinity chromatography, lectin microarrays, etc., for marine glycoprotein enrichment.
  • Glycoprotein structure, and quantitative analysis: Based on high-resolution mass spectrometry systems, Glycan Analysis, glycan determination, glycosylation site identification, quantitative analysis, etc., are all possible.
  • Data analysis: We analyze the data obtained by comparison and bioinformatics.

We have further subdivided our services into the following three sections to better meet our clients' needs regarding glycoprotein analysis.

Quantification Analysis of Marine Glycoprotein

Quantification of glycoproteins is a particularly critical step in glycoproteomics. We provide highly accurate Relative and Absolute Quantification Services for marine glycoproteins. We aim to provide new ideas for research by identifying differences in protein expression in different physiological and pathological states.

Structure Analysis of Marine Glycoprotein

Structure analysis helps to understand the role of marine glycoproteins in a variety of physiological processes. We have a full range of marine glycoprotein structure analysis services, including the following:

Marine Collagen Analysis Service

Marine collagen has attracted a lot of attention due to its health benefits. We provide a comprehensive and high-quality one-stop marine collagen analysis service.

Publication Data

Technology: N-glycomic and N-glycoproteomic approaches

Published: 2021

Results: In this study, N-glycans and N-glycoproteins in Phaeodactylum tricornutum were investigated using N-glycomic and N-glycoproteomic approaches. The N-glycoproteins were analyzed after extraction, enzymatic digestion, isolation, and glycopeptide enrichment. Finally, 863 different N-glycosylated peptides corresponding to 639 proteins were identified from P. tricornutum. Most of the N-glycosylated proteins were involved in catalytic activity and binding.

Applications

  • Glycoproteomics is an important tool for studying protein glycosylation modifications, which helps to reveal the biological mechanisms by which glycosylation is involved in regulating cell-cell or cell-matrix adhesion and migration.
  • Glycoproteomics can be used to analyze protein expression differences and correlations, reveal protein interactions, and construct protein interaction networks.
  • Glycoproteomics can be used to analyze the role played by glycosylation modifications in metabolic diseases, cancer, etc.

Features

  • We provide customized one-stop service of experimental design, sample processing, and data analysis according to clients' needs.
  • We adopt a complete strategy for glycopeptide analysis. Glycosylation sites, glycoforms, paired quantitative information, etc., are obtained simultaneously.
  • Our marine glycoprotein analysis is based on high sensitivity and high throughput mass spectrometry, which greatly shortens the experimental cycle.

CD BioGlyco is committed to serving sugar-related research by providing accurate, efficient, and personalized glycoprotein analysis services. Based on the high-resolution mass spectrometry system, we are confident that we do our best. Please feel free to contact us for more information about sample requirements, glycoprotein structure, quantitative analysis, etc. if you are interested in our marine glycoproteomics.
