Results: The article studied the effects of a new commercial seaweed extract (True-Algae-Max) on the morphological agronomic and bioactive properties of rocket (Eruca vesicaria). The study found that this seaweed extract, especially at a concentration of 10%, was able to significantly improve the growth, mineral content and bioactive compounds of rocket, and its effect was comparable to that of the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) control group. In addition, the study also identified new bioactive compounds such as milbemycin oxime in seaweed extracts for the first time. Rocket treated with 10% True-Algae-Max showed the highest antioxidant activity and cytotoxic activity against hepatoma cell lines (HepG2). The study concluded that True-Algae-Max is a promising and feasible tool that can effectively promote the growth and yield of rocket, and as an alternative to NPK fertilizers.
What types of marine organisms do you typically extract from?
We extract from a wide range of marine organisms, including various species of marine plants (seaweeds), marine animals (like mollusks and crustaceans), and a diverse array of marine microorganisms. Our selection depends on the specific compounds our clients are seeking.
Can you develop custom marine extracts tailored to our specific research needs?
Absolutely! Customization is a cornerstone of our service. We work closely with clients to design and execute extraction, purification, and characterization processes that meet their unique project requirements.
What are the typical lead times for your marine extract projects?
Lead times vary depending on the complexity and scope of the project. We provide estimated timelines during the initial consultation and strive to complete projects efficiently while maintaining our high-quality standards.
At CD BioGlyco, our commitment to innovation ensures that we continuously expand our portfolio, bringing the latest discoveries from marine glycoscience directly to your projects. to discuss how these specialized marine extracts can elevate your product development!
