Properties
Description
DPPS-chitosan, known as chitosan-dipalmitoylphosphatidylserine, is an experimental conjugate synthesized by modifying chitosan—a polysaccharide from chitin—with DPPS. This construct combines chitosan's mucoadhesion with DPPS's membrane affinity.
