Properties
Description
Alginate-PEG-CHO, or aldehyde-PEG-alginate, is a research-oriented conjugate designed to covalently attach aldehyde groups to alginate (a biocompatible, biodegradable polysaccharide with gel-forming capacity) via a PEG tether. The PEG linker (provided in selectable molecular weights: 350, 550, 750, 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 10k, or 20k Da) enhances solubility properties, extends circulation duration, and regulates drug release profiles.
