Results: This article investigates the effect of seaweed oligosaccharide synergistic silicate fertilizer (SOSSiF) on improving rice resistance to lodging stress under high nitrogen (N) levels (300 kg/ha), with conventional silicate fertilizer (CSiF) and a control group as comparisons. The study first found that high N levels significantly increased rice lodging rate, while SOSSiF reduced the apparent lodging rate by 24.2%–43.4% compared to CSiF and significantly increased yield by 9.3%–15.0%. Morphologically and anatomically, SOSSiF decreased plant height and lower internode length and increased culm wall thickness and cross-sectional area. Mechanically, it enhanced culm bending strength by 38.8%–63.6% and reduced lodging index by 36.8%-42.6%. Chemically, it elevated culm contents of soluble sugar, cellulose, lignin, and silicon in both JNSM and ZCSM. The study concludes that SOSSiF outperforms CSiF in improving rice lodging resistance and yield under high N conditions by modifying morphological traits and enhancing culm chemical components.
