Properties
Description
This environment-sensitive fluorescent probe features the dansyl group (5-dimethylaminonaphthalene-1-sulfonyl), whose fluorescence properties change with solvent polarity, conjugated to the hydrophilic polysaccharide xanthan gum via a polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer, enabling research on microenvironment polarity, protein binding sites, or the characterization of hydrophobic domains.
