Alginate-PEG-trans-cyclooctene, also known as TCO-PEG-alginate, represents a research-grade conjugate where trans-cyclooctene is covalently connected to alginate (a biocompatible, biodegradable polysaccharide with gel-forming ability) via a PEG spacer.
